Because the ideal of perfection rules our working world as well as society and especially the Internet constantly provides us with images of successful, ambitious and happy people. But this often leads to pressure, stress, problems and overload, even anxiety and depression. The unfortunate result: false ambition has many people too firmly in its grip: they want too much and too quickly the wrong thing, but at the same time they lack the ability to develop their own potential. Often it would be enough to take a step back and change ingrained behavior patterns, but often enough aggression, fears and other negative emotions block the way. The good news is that self-efficacy can make many things easier for us than we think. For example, by setting priorities when making decisions, detaching ourselves from our own exaggerated demands for perfection, becoming aware of blockages such as procrastination traps, avoiding insecurity through unproductive brooding, learning to deal with loss of control in a relaxed manner, and thus gaining the ability to react more flexibly even to unforeseen events.
